Happy New Year!

Happy New Year


I manage to always get the best sleep heading into the New Year; sleep off 2010 and rest up for 2011. It seems to be working this year, I actually believe I am going to accomplish most of the items on my new year resolution.
  1. Paint my apt. So important for me to do this or I will end up moving. I need change!
  2. I'm going to wash my car more often in 2011. I read that keeping your car clean helps save on gas. Is that true? (Maybe I'll delve more into that when I finally wash my car.)
  3. Try a new activity at least once a month. I have way too much time on my hands.Seriously, too much time.
  4. Get my booty in a gym, I have the February '11 start of my sophomore season with the New York Sharks (Women's Pro Tackle Football).

Football Hurts?

Here I am hootin' and hollerin' about joining the New York Sharks Women's Pro Football team based in Brooklyn, NY, then I go home this weekend and check my mailbox only to find my weekly Time Magazine. As soon as I saw the cover I cracked up [the world revolves around me]. Let me show you what I saw.

Here I am preppin' to get ready for my rookie season in the Indepenent Women's Football League (IWFL) and Time Magazine wants to scare me into early retirement. Too be honest, I didn't read the entire article, but the cover image was information enough... Time Magazine doesn't think I'm tough enough for football. I'll show them on April 10 in Philadelphia. Matter of fact, I'll show them at every game this season. Follow my progress!

Thanks for the heads up Time Magazine... but I got this!
