Recycle Your Worn-Out Shoes at Liberty vs. Sparks on July 9

Put your worn-out kicks back on the court during WNBA Green Week! Join the New York Liberty and Nike Reuse-A-Shoe for a special shoe recycling night on July 9, as the Liberty face off against the Sparks right here in New York. Just bring your old athletic shoes to the Mall Entrance of Madison Square Garden through halftime of the game and drop them in the Nike Reuse-A-Shoe bin and we just might have some Nike Grind samples to check out, or even Nike Reuse-A-Shoe giveaways. Nike will recycle your shoes into a raw material called Nike Grind, which is used in new basketball courts and other sports surfaces, like playgrounds, tracks and turf fields — keeping millions of shoes out of the landfill while providing schools, parks and other places with more sustainable surfacing options.
